Wainui Wharf

Akaroa Salmon is available at the Wainui wharf to those who are lucky enough to be enjoying Akaroa Harbour. These fish are only minutes out of the water and are among the freshest fish you will find. The boat arrives at the wharf Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and whole fish can be purchased with cash only. The arrival times vary according to weather conditions and how many fish are being harvested but if you get to the wharf by 1:45 pm then you should catch the team unloading the boat.

Sunday to Wednesday from 2.30pm to 3.30pm

Please note: The salmon are available while the harvest vessel is being unloaded.
